Here are the top 10 teams that qualified for the ER Champ 2025 Finals, based on their performance during the online stage:

However, that’s not the full story.

A critical in-game error

Unfortunately, during the event we discovered that the game contained a bug that occurred in a very specific situation. As a result of this issue, exactly 10 teams were unable to complete the game. We sincerely apologize for this situation.

What happened?

The issue occurred when the person waiting for the brain extraction left the machine, and the operator pressed an area that had previously been a button. This triggered a brain extraction “without a brain,” and, as a result, no player was able to see the world from the vacuum cleaner’s perspective.

Wild Card Entries

After reviewing the logs, we made the decision to grant two wild card entries to teams who were directly affected by the bug. These teams demonstrated excellent performance and would have likely finished the game under normal conditions.

How we selected the Wild Cards

To ensure fairness, we calculated the time each of the 10 affected teams reached the point in the game where progression became impossible due to the bug. To that time, we added the time it took the best team in the Qualifiers to complete the entire game. Based on this combined metric, the two fastest teams among the affected ones were granted wild card entries to the Finals.

You’ll also get to explore a small exhibition zone on site, and end the day with an unforgettable afterparty — a chance to meet and network with escape room enthusiasts from all over the world.
