The ER Champ 2024 finals in Prague are fast approaching. If you want to join us in Fun Arena, cheer on the finalists live and meet people who are just like you - in love with escape rooms and puzzles, take part in our competition and win a two-person invitation to the November event.

Create a puzzle and win an invitation to the ER Champ finals in Prague

Due to organizational reasons, we cannot create a fan zone at the ER Champ 2024 finals. However, we know that many people would like to meet us in Prague, so we are holding this contest! Two two-person ER Champ Finals invitations are up for grabs. To win one of them, design a riddle that meets several criteria. Riddle:

• can have only one solution,
• must be designed with the point and click technology in mind, in which we create ER Champ games - must not use sound or video,
• must be free of legal defects - it must be your original puzzle, although it can be based on known mechanics,
• must be designed in English or be language independent.

Send a puzzle with details and a description of the solution via email titled 'Puzzle contest ER Champ 2024' to hello@erchamp.com. Sign your name or nickname - these details will be made public when the results are announced.

We are waiting for submissions until September 8 at 21:59 UTC. We will publish the results of the contest on September 13 on our Facebook and Discord, as well as by email to those subscribed to the ER Champ newsletter. We will contact the winners individually via the email address from which the contest puzzle was sent.

Competition Regulations

§1 Organizer of the contest

The contest "Create a puzzle, meet us in Prague", hereinafter referred to as the contest, is organized by Lockme sp. z o.o., the owner of the Lockme and ER Champ brands, based in Wrocław, ul. Ofiar Oświęcimskich, 50-069 Wrocław, entered in the National Court Register 0000942965 WR.VI NS-REJ, NIP 8971900213, hereinafter referred to as Lockme. Lockme is the founder of the prize.

§2 Duration of the contest

The contest runs from 26.08.2024 to 8.09.2024 at 21:59 UTC.

§3 Rules of the contest

The contest is open to any person of legal age.

The participant of the contest cannot be a person who is:

• a member of the organizer's immediate family,
• an employee of the organizer,
• connected with the organizer by a contract of mandate, contract for work, contract for cooperation, contract for services or in any other way cooperates with the organizer.

Members of the immediate family are considered to be:

• Ascendants,
• Descendants,
• Siblings,
• Spouse,
• A person in an adoption relationship.

The contest is creative in nature. In order to participate in the contest, you must create and submit a riddle from 26.08-08.09.2024 that can be used in next year's ER Champ systems load test - "Stress test".

The riddle must be:

• logical,
• have only one solution,
• designed with point and click technology in mind, in which we create ER Champ,
• in text and picture form only, must not use sound or video,
• free from legal defects,
• original, although it may be based on known mechanics,
• designed in English or be language independent.

The creator of the riddle transfers to the organizer the rights to use the riddle designed by him/her. Each participant can submit only one puzzle. 

Submissions should be sent by email to hello@erchamp.com. The email should be titled ‘Puzzle contest ER Champ 2024’. Please sign the email with the submission with your nickname or name, which will be made public when the results are announced.

§4 Selection of the winner

The winners of the contest will be selected by the Jury consisting of Bartosz Idzikowski, Jakub Caban. When choosing the winners, the Jury will evaluate the creativity of the submitted puzzles. The results of the contest will be published on Facebook and Discord on 13.09.2024. After the announcement of the results, the organizer will contact the winners via the email from which the contest entries were sent.

§5 Prize in the contest

The prize in the contest are two two-person invitations to the final of ER Champ 2024, which will be held in the Fun Arena (Prague, Czech Republic), November 25, 2024. The organizer will not provide the winners with transportation or accommodation and will not cover other costs associated with participation in the above-mentioned event.

§6 Complaints

Complaints related to the contest can be submitted by e-mail to hello@erchamp.com. The title of the message must contain the phrase "Complaint - Create a puzzle contest, meet us in Prague". Complaints can be submitted for a maximum of 2 days after the contest results are announced. Organizer has 14 days to respond to the complaint.
